Great Location

Can’t say much good about the room. It left a lot to be desired but the staff was nice the few times we saw them. However, if you want a very basic room in a great location this is the one.

Location, location, location.....and service.

My title hints at it...this place is in an amazingly central location. Considering that, it's brilliant value. Other points: room was a bit scruffy, in that the walls could with paint, the wardrobe wasn't in good condition. The shower also wasn't brilliant but it did the job. However, I'd still go back there in a heartbeat. The service was superb, even though there's no staff constantly on site. I managed to lock myself out of my room but the contact WhatsApp answered me within 1 minute, literally. We worked through a solution & I was back in my room in under 5 minutes. Vanessa - thank you! Also, the daily cleaning is excellent, the cleaner very friendly. The bed was very comfortable & the air con was powerful. Back to the location...... My window looked out over the Mercato del Porcellino & I was 30 seconds from Piazza della Signoria. Both were the most important things that I wanted to see. No room safe but that never felt like an issue to me. So, it's not a resort style place but as a solo or couple travelling and sightseeing, I couldn't recommend it more. Oh, also, there was construction happening on the building opposite. I wasn't aware of this until I opened the window in the morning, the sound deadening in the double glazing was excellent.

The location of this property is awesome - incredibly close to Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, the Arno, and such. Also, right in the middle of a fabulous shopping area and immediately next to a great outdoor market. That was a huge plus for us. Also, the woman we coordinated with was an excellent communicator, which was great. This property has a lot going for it, but just set your expectation that this is a very simple room. Clean and tidy. That being said, the room is VERY small and more like a dorm (metal bedframes with very firm twin mattresses pushed together), and very sparsely decorated! The smallest shower ever. Unfortunately, I could not get onto the internet on the WiFi with my computer, I would get connected and it said no Internet. Not sure why I had an issue at this hotel, and nowhere else on my trip.

Dafne wasn’t not friend at all, we asked for room upgrade , she didn’t give it to us,and we saw empty and bigger rooms available.The shower was terrible,the water was everywhere in the bathroom.Room was very small.She didn’t give late check out either.

Our stay was amazing. The room was right outside of the square and we got to listen to performers each night from our window once we got home each night. The room was clean, bathroom was clean as well. The walking distance was so perfect, we never had to take a taxi, bikes, or any other means of transportation. Lastly our host was so kind in gifting a bottle of wine and letting us store our luggage after checkout to avoid having to bring them on last minute museum trips. Would absolutely recommend!!!
