Very convenient location to all of florence and in a safe area! There are plenty of local cafés, restaurants, and shops right in the streets around the hotel. Hotel was all that we needed for our stay and the room was clean! Would stay here again!

Next to the train station and within the historic centre of Florence, so is very convenient. Despite choosing a triple room, the room was not set up as such and instead we had to request this the next day. Property was dated but generally well maintained and clean. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Monica. The room was clean and comfortable. It was about a 10 minute walk to the train station and about 15 minutes to the main tour bus location. It was also convenenti to the Duomo. Even though there was no elevator, the staff cheerfully carried our bags both up and back down when we were coming and going which was a big help for 2 seniors. We highly recommend it.
