A wonderful stay in Florence, just outside the hustle and bustle of the swarming city center. Attentive and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Affordable, practical and extremely inviting.

I traveled with my family. Although the hotel is located about a 15–20 minute walk from the main attractions in the city center, it is worth it. Here’s why: 1. The hotel lobby is staffed 24 hours a day. 2. The staff were very helpful and stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. 3. Mohamad and Marianne (I may be forgetting the exact names) at the front desk were extremely helpful in resolving my rental car issue with Hertz in Sorrento. 4. The room was clean and modern, and housekeeping came every day. 5. It was very quiet at night—no loud tourists or traffic noise. 6. The rainfall shower had perfect water pressure, and the hot water was truly hot—not the tinny drizzle and lukewarm water we experienced in other hotels in Italy. I wish the hotel would consider replenishing the two free water bottles every day.

We had a very nice stay overall. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, and well kept. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was no longer working during our stay (end of October), so we had to sleep with the windows open. As a result, we ended up with quite a few mosquito bites — apparently common in Florence that time of year. A lovely gesture was receiving breakfast boxes on our departure morning since we had to check out very early. That extra attention to detail was much appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay with great service — just wish the room had been a bit cooler and mosquito-free!

We stayed for one night to be close to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff pleasant and helpful. They even printed boarding passes for us. The only negative was that they listed on the website that they had a 24-hour airport shuttle, but they could only use a taxi. They called a cab for us early the next morning and it came quickly. We would have preferred the certainty of an in-house shuttle.

Great place to stay in Florence without the crowds

Very friendly reception staff, with excellent customer service and information—including transportation and restaurants in the immediate area. Very well situated hotel within an easy walk to tourist sites in the heart of the city, and very near the tram lines for easy access to the airport.

Comfortable room and helpful staff

The staff here was very helpful and attended to my needs. The in-roof safe needed batteries and this was taken care of. Also the temperature was too cold and unfortunately, it could not be controlled in the room- the person at the front desk had to do it. However, once done it was fine. Breakfast was good although a lot of pastries and sweets were available which I don’t like too much of for breakfast. There were eggs, yogurt and cereal as well for Americans and others that prefer those choices over croissants and things like that. There’s a train available at the end of the block which is about a 3 minute walk and this takes you to the Florence train station but doesn’t go into the heart of the city, but there are other busses that are available if one needs to go further into Florence, but it is a walkable city. All in all, it was a good stay.
