Great location in an old building

Check in was amazing; the young man working reception was exceptional. His helpful and friendly demeanour has been unmatched during our entire trip. The communal breakfast space is open 24 hours and you can help yourself to fruit, cookies, tea, etc. We drank some wine there one evening and took advantage of their book collection, finding one on Florence. Our room was the Ducati Room, there are a few things to be aware of. The washroom is elevated with tricky stairs that have no lighting or white markings to be seen in the dark. I placed squares of toilet paper on each step to help in the dark, but still my husband stumbled. This is unsafe and there should be at least a night light that illuminated the stairs. The street is 1000 years old, The building is 500 years old. Apparently there is nothing that can be done about the sewer smell in the room or incredibly loud street noise out front. Bring ear plugs or they have some if you forgot them. The location is very close to the train station and it is very easy to walk to most places you will want to visit.

Location is good; however, the street is noisy at night & disrupted sleep. The hotel is between other buildings - so limited visibility. Rooms are situated over 4 floors. Beware - if you have large luggage, it’s a hike up the stairs. The Vespa room at the top is VERY small. Photos online did not match expectations on arrival.

This 500 year old villa is simply amazing; filled with patina, character, and charm. Our accommodations were comfortable, clean, and classy. We even listened to their local recommendations and had the best night of our trip so far. 10/10 would recommend.

This was in a great location which was easiky walkable from the trai station and the local attractions. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who also provided recommendations on where to go and where to eat - there are lots of popular, non-touristy restaurants nearby. We were in one of the rooms at the top of the house - it was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and it was great to have access to the drinks and snacks throughout the day. Overall, this was great value accommodation.

Excellent location, walking distance to the train station, and attractions. Very convenient. Walter was very attentive and nice host. The room was very clean, nice and large. The hot water ran out on our last day, but it is summer, so very hot out. Overall it was a really nice stay.

Very welcoming host. Gave us a map and highlighted places to visit. Offered to hold luggage after checkout. Very quiet balcony room. Many stairs up to third floor but manageable and they offered to help. Access to kitchen 24 hours was very nice with coffee tea and juice plus cookies. Close to main attractions and train station.
