Ideal for walking to the galleries and main areas like the cathedral and Ponte Vecchio. Small but clean room with good selection of toiletries. Very nice breakfast. Friendly helpful staff for recommendations for restaurants too! Will definitely be there again.

I was disappointed with this hotel choice as the room I booked was not the room I was given, in fact it is not pictured on the website at all. I booked the "Junior Suite" which is shown as a bright, large well furnished room with two windows. https://www.borghesepalace.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/19-1.jpg But the room I got was dark with one window and a bathroom terribly in need of a refresh. The man at the desk told me I could not expect to have the room shown that it was only a catagory. I travelled through Naples, Ischia and Sperlonga and always the rooms reflected what they showed me on the booking page. This hotel was the most cost per night and definitely not 4 star, it is the location only that saves it.

I booked 5 nights at this property for my wife and her friend. The main issue is that the junior suite bathroom had a significant amount of mold. The mold smell was also pervasive throughout the room. Leaving the window open during the did not resolve the issue. She and I contacted the front desk to ask to switch rooms, which was not possible as the hotel was completely booked. As well, the manager was not in. After the second night, it was decided that they would leave the hotel and stay somewhere else. The front desk person, was responsive and pleasant to deal with, even thought there was nothing he could do. We were told to contact the manager, and given his email. For the past week, I've been trying to talk to the manager, but have not received any response. I'm quite disappointed with the level of service provided by management. One would think that management would be quick to contact someone when there is a mold issue in the room and the customers leave after 2 nights.

Very nice hotel, big clean room, bathroom and the room had everything what needed. The staff was friendly and responsive to or needs-a couple of days it became too hot in the room , we have reported the case to the front desk and they have quickly fixed that. Breakfast was wonderful! The main thing - excellent location, right in the old part of town with short walk to every historic landmark - Dome, Croche, Uffizzi, etc. ! It was a pleasure to stay, thanks.

Great stay!

Breakfast had different breads to toast and luncheon meats with condiments for sandwiches. They also had eggs, bacon, pancakes, cold cereal with raisins, nuts, etc. also had yogurt and cappuccino maker or choice of tea. Gluten free options too. Staff at front desk and breakfast room were courteous and friendly, excellent hosts. Room had a large king size bed with extra pillows and a fridge. It was dated, but clean. We did not use the air conditioning as we could open the windows. We were in Room #304 and could hear bar patrons at the end of the night, but that didn’t last long. Hotel was in the tourist district and walking distance to many tourist destinations and there was a laundromat across the street. $5 for wash and another $5 for the dryer. Restaurants were expensive, as expected, but looked inviting. The gym was in the lower level and had a sign for an extra charge for $10-15. We did not use.

The rooms were clean and spacious if a little lacking in colour and character. Walking distance to all the main attractions with lots of restaurants close by. It did not seem the bar ever got opened and would have liked coffee available in the room rather than just tea bags. Breakfast was tasty and good value so only had a few minor negatives. We still had a good stay and would consider it again. So maybe being a bit picky.
