Pancake machine was unattended, instructions obscured, bag needed replacing, no help offered even though I was clearly trying to figure it out for 10 minutes or so. No plain oatmeal in vessel, quite disappointing, no sweetener-free options. No whole boiled eggs."

"We had an outstanding visit. The property is terrific, with meadows open to sky, wooded areas with trails and a lovely pond. The house is great, very comfortable. A deep porch wraps around the rear addition, offering shade and expansive views. The kitchen is big with everything you need. Bedrooms are set up as suites, so it's pretty easy for a large group to subdivide: parents can have privacy from kids and vice versa. The interior is new and up-to-date without compromising the home's traditional character. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. They showed us around when we arrived, which was helpful because the property is big. We would come back. The experience was excellent all around."

"My family loves Deer Hideout Retreat! This was our second stay. We love how well equipped the place is, it’s super clean, and the property (with trails!) is beautiful. The hosts have put a lot of thought into their guests’ comfort and have added so many nice touches. Check in and out is easy. If you need to get away, this is the place to go!"

"Have quite a long driveway to the cabin. Far in the woods overlooking the river. Peaceful and comfortable cabin it was a nice stay and pet friendly too."

"This cottage was straight out of Country Living Magazine. All you could want with a bottle of wine awaiting arrival. Coffee creamers, pods, eggs, make up remover pads etc. It was immaculate and comfy. We highly recommend and would definitely stay there again."
