So much noise above us at all times of the day, the guest above us were noisiest around midnight to 3 am literally stomping and dropping things. Told the front desk in which they replied oh well we can't stop them from making noise unless they are partying, and they are aware they are being noisy. Yet that just encouraged them to get louder at night. The front desk then said we can move you like I'm the one being punished for complaining. Also elevator out of order almost our entire stay that was annoying so had to keep room on ground floor. Hallways smelled like weed and fish which was a gross mixture. Staff doesn't come to desk right away they sit behind a wall and wait while you stand there at the front desk looking stupid. They should train everyone of them on guest etiquette and how to handle certain situations and to smile more.

I visited this hotel and my first impression was terrible! My husband and I arrived at 12am, we booked a room at around 11:20 pm, when we got there the girl working the front desk advised that there weren’t any rooms that we booked. She gave us a double bed, which was fine, but the problems arrived afterwards. We went to our car and got all of our stuff, we were on the third floor room 304, there was no elevator. We walked three floors with many bags, and as soon as we got to the top floor, it smelled sooo bad. Almost like cigarettes and a strong curry. I entered the room and it smelled almost like feces. I look on the counter and see a bug run across, with a closer look I saw that it was a roach. This completely freaked me out, and in another second, there were 3 more baby roaches. Where there’s one there’s hundreds more. We made our back downstairs and talked to the employee. We advised that there were roaches, of which we had video, and she let us know that she knows there’s roaches. We asked her how long this has been going on and she said she’s been working there for about 6 months, and 5 of those she realized there were roaches. She told us that she let the managers know months before multiple times and they haven’t done anything about it. It’s disgusting. This was really surprising because not even the reviews let us know anything about bugs. Another thing, when we made our way downstairs there was a man smoking a cigarette at the very bottom of the stairs.

Overall room was comfortable. Would benefit upgrading kitchen and bathroom. Room was clean, did find a few dead cockroaches in kitchen area. Elevator was out of service, stairwell had an odor and could use a good cleaning. Staff went above and beyond to help extend my stay for an additional night. Travel Nurse working at Kaiser, location was perfect. Because of my hours, didn't have the chance to try the breakfast.
