Weird check in and out lady

Hotel was great and everything was clean and well stocked and quiet. Definitely would stay again. Except for the concierge clerk... . They asked me if i was able to work with the tattoos i have on my arms. Not a big issue and not something i would even comment about except for a laugh. But when i went to check out at 830-9 there was no one at the desk. I called out and knocked on the employee door a few times snd waited at least 10 minutes (it felt... perhaps 5) with no reply. There was no note either about a bathroom break. I ended up taking a napkin and writing a note about our check out. They showed up at the last second acting like they hadnt been MIA. i dont like leaving keys unattended as it can be dangerous. Same person who checked us in.

We wanted just a cheaper room close to Napa. Surprisingly comfortable beds and pillows! Not much noise from outside, walls are a little thin but the hotel after 10pm was very quiet. Definitely better than I expected!!!

Check in was easy. The room was nice with comfy beds and sheets. Entering the room there was a strong chlorine bleach smell but it dissipated. Lots of fast food dining options within walking distance and a gas station across the street. Far enough away from the freeway to have a quiet room experience. Small microwave and fridge in the room. Two thumbs up.

Front desk (night shift) was unhelpful and discourteous. I have issues with my room so I requested for room change. It was discussed earlier with the front desk on pm shift but was not granted by the next shift. So disappointing! I have raised my issues thru email with the management but I did not get a reply? I've decided to shorten my stay and transfer to nearby hotel. The good thing was they refunded the 1 night.
