The people that work there are very friendly. The bed was pretty old and I woke up with a bad back. The shower is a little small, but the room has a nice old-timey feel to it. Set the thermostat early in the day so it doesn't knock on all night and keep you up.

There was only a half of a roll of toliet paper in bathroom with no extra rolls. No wash cloths. Had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs which wasn't ideall as I have back issues. But other then that the hotel was great.

The staff was wonderful. Could use a little more attention to details in rooms. Had to request a hair dryer. Had to go to the 2nd floor to get coffee. No hooks for towels. No counter space for toiletries. Small things but kind of inconvenient. Would stay there again though. Very clean and the staff was great!

Staff were great & helpful. Received a call that elevator was out of order, but not before I had already left home. So getting another hotel wasn’t an option because of weekend. Used back steps to take luggage up 4 floors. Ugh! I didn’t feel the room I had was clean. I accidentally spilled water on my slippers & had to go barefoot & my feet were so dirty from the rug. I had to wash before going to sleep. I’m home now & even the things in my suitcase I felt I had to wash. Ceiling has numerous water stains. Refrigerator didn’t work. Breakfast was poor. Not much variety & purchase from Walmart. Containers for water, juices & milk weren’t clean. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The moment we entered the hotel, we had a wonderful homey feeling. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem was the elevator was not working. We had to walk up on set of stairs. Luckily we were on the second floor. Any higher and there would have been a bigger problem. We will be back.

Stay at the Waynebrook Inn

It was good, the best part was the nice hot water and the water pressure, and the bed was comfortable. The bad part was the people upstairs were very noisy, there was no phone, no alarm clock, no extra blankets and I thought the room that I reserved was a king deluxe and it was just a room with a bathroom and a king size bed, your ads for the rooms are very misleading. Will we stay again, probably because now I know what to expect and what to bring with us. Overall it is a very nice place to stay, very quaint with a lot of unique history.

Kids thought this would be "haunted" 😆

My kids picked this hotel because the cover photo looks spooky. It wasn't. It is very old, the elevator is so slow we just took the stairs. When we arrived to check in, there was no staff and a sign that said they stepped away. Eventually a young woman from the bar helped us and was able to check us in by calling someone and they walked her through it. That was weird but the room itself was clean, comfortable and our floor had a little bookshelf and sitting area, next to a table with free coffee and water. Soda machine drinks only $2. I requested 2 rollaway cots, and they were already in the room, set up and ready to be slept in. There's a bar off of the lobby and complimentary breakfast- bagels, oatmeal, granola bars, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries.... only issue was parking filled up and we weren't sure if we could use the lot access the street because it had a no trespassing sign. Other than the limited parking, this was a nice stay.

Great place, great price.

The room was very clean and quiet. The restaurant had delicious food and was perfect after a long day. Parking in the main lot is tough but there is a second lot right across the street. The continental breakfast was nice and convenient. There wasn't a hairdryer and I forgot to bring mine. Other than my mistake the room was perfect. We definitely plan on staying again.

Over all an ok place to stay, despite it being “smoke free”. Other occupants were smoking marijuana in their rooms Which wafted into my room and hallways outside dining area smelled heavily of manure.
