"Thermostat does not allow to be set below 69 degrees. Staff was responsive to my concern and promised to have it checked the next day. But they did not check it and it still would not go below 69 the following day. On the hottest setting, shower was Luke warm. Very frustrating! The T Stat, the Luke warm water and things like minimum towels, the thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen etc. shows this hotel has a noticeable effort for cost savings at the guests inconvenience. I’ve always been happy with Marriott but I would not stay at this Aloft again."

"Staff was excellent, property was clean. We arrived kind of late after flying in from VA. The shuttle picked us up in no time and got us there. We had 5 rooms booked for our group of 15 and it took a bit of rearranging as their elevators were down and we had 4 elders traveling with us that couldn’t do stairs. They managed to get it worked out so those two rooms were on the first floor, but the rest of us had to haul giant suitcases (cruising for a week) up to the 3rd floor. An offer to help with luggage or even a little discount would’ve been great but it was after 9 at night so there may have not been too much staff on hand. The lady at the desk was phenomenal though and had a great personality."

"The airport shuttle was a joke. We waited over an hour for pickup at the airport & within that time called the hotel 3x for status. Each time I was told “it will be there within 20 minutes”. We finally took a taxi to the hotel (a 5 minute drive from the airport) & there was the shuttle, in front of reception."
