Such a terrific option for lodging when visiting Yosemite. It's just a few miles outside the east entrance. They have cozy little cabins for an affordable price. While the infrastructure is not the greatest (it was hit or miss with the heating system and hot water in the cabin itself), the beds were really comfortable, parking was easy, and it was super low maintenance as far as getting firewood, lighting a fire, and relaxing with some wine and enjoying the stars. The staff are pleasant, and the whole experience was hassle-free. The only downer is that there are really no good dining options anywhere near (including the national park, where the food and service are terrible). SO, if you are picky about that, it's best to stock up on groceries on your way. The cabin has a nice kitchenette and a full-sized refrigerator. Highly recommend!

The place is clean, the front office person is so nice. The grocery and gift shop has required items. Just 6 miles away from park entrance. Definitely revisit and definitely recommend to friends.

Cabin was very run down. Blinds are in awful condition. Heating would not work properly. Gas heater would come on for a few seconds and just turn back off immediately. Thankfully they had infra red backup heaters but they are not safe and use a lot of energy. Only good thing was the water was nice and hot. I’ll not stay here again. It is just not maintained.

The property was adequate for short stay. We were in a cabin with kitchen. Very old, outdated, only 2 burner electric stove that was wonkey & knob degrees worn off, refrigerator, very tiny freezer had no controls & refrigerator part was so cold it froze my vegetables & drinks, tiny sink. Beds, especially the pull out couch were not comfortable & the sheets were thread worn & dingy. I wouldn't stay there if I was in an RV as the spaces are ridiculously small & cramped. It's nice you can use the pools, community center next door, & there is a nice small park & beac area across the street. It is one of only 2 dog friendly places near Yosemite.

We stayed in a jupe tent which in theory is cool. It has solar power and each night the battery would say full but within a couple hours it was beeping empty. First night we had lights on and AC set higher than outside tent, second night I only had my phone plugged in, no lights. Also the provided WiFi either wouldn’t let you log in or it said no internet connection. I’m all for roughing it but when I was expecting to have it…otherwise clean tent and restaurant next door was good.

Don’t let the negative RV comment scare you away. Our cabin was absolutely amazing for being in the middle of nowhere. It’s a little outdated, but I didn’t expect anything more. One of our burners on the stove didn’t work the first night they had someone come out with a new part the next day they were very attentive. It was very spacious. We had a dog and three adults, and there was plenty of room for everybody a nice TV a somewhat updated bathroom and the pool and hot tub at the hotel next-door that we were able to use was beautiful.

Cabin had newer appliances and a separate bedroom space. Needed a thorough cleaning, window blinds that you weren't reluctant to touch & general updating of furnishings. Looked like an O K space to park an R V overnight, but i wouldn't recommend the cabins.

Glamping

The glamping cabin at Indian Flats was a wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and smelled fresh, clearly cleaned thoroughly with bleach. It came fully equipped with a kitchen and private bathroom, making the stay very comfortable. Housekeeping provided excellent service — they even gave extra soap and shampoo and thoughtfully folded our clothes. Overall, everything was tidy and well-maintained. Highly recommended!

National parks tour

Tent cabins are a little dusty. The linens are clean and so are the bathrooms. The staff seem overworked but friendly. Good location and it worked well for us. We are not used to roughing it.
