This hotel has seen much better days. Rooms are shabby and not well kept. The location is pretty good, though, so if you are just passing through for one night and don’t care too much about the quality issues, it’s fine.

Yes we were more than happy with our Leviathan visit.It is one of dunedin's earliest hotels and still has many of the original features but for those who appreciate yesterdays craftsmanship it has real appeal.

Clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the number of power points in the room: I could charge phone and hearing aids at the same time as boiling the kettle for a cuppa.
