I know its a corny expression, calling a place a home away from home but I could easily move into the apartment I stayed in, it was that warm, tidy and inviting. Well maintained retro kiwi beach charm and modern where it needs to be. Premium linen, incredible shower. Every unit appears to have a new split system air conditioner. I had a gorgeous private courtyard with trees and shrubs. Insane value for the location!

Old-skool motel. Like a 50s TV drama, but that was a massive joy. Roomy and bright. Spotless and friendly. And the beach just across the way to add to the relaxation. If you want pampering look elsewhere. If you want to be chilled you won’t go wrong here.

Very welcoming on arrival. We picked this place for its full kitchen however the stovetop was not working properly and there was no gas bottle in the outdoor bbq when we tried to adapt. The oven worked at least. Good location near the beach. Space is tight with four people and luggage.

Easy to find. Reception on site. We were met by the owner who personally showed us to the room and where to park. Allocated parking outside the room. Very friendly, made some recommendations of where to eat. Short drive to the beach and to local restaurants. The room was spacious (double and single bed), a kitchen with small dining table. Small shower and separate toilet and separate sink area. All spotlessly clean and tidy. Well maintained property. Good WiFi. Tea coffee milk and body wash provided.
