This is a cozy two bedroom bungalow located on the Beautiful north shore of Lake Superior. property is 5 acres for plenty of outdoor activities for the entire family. Also located directly next to the McQuade small craft safe harbor for access to the lake for boating, swimming, fishing, or anything you would like to enjoy in the lake. property has communal firepits along with private at each building. BBQ grills, outdoor games, and many other options are available.

Fourteen-day cancellation notice required. We do not accept cancellations due to weather. If you cancel within the 14 day period you will be charged half of the money due unless the unit is able to be rebooked.

The Lookout cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was clean and cozy. The cabin is also located near fun attractions in Duluth and further north like Glensheen Mansion and Gooseberry Falls State Park. We’ll be back!

The pictures don’t describe it well enough! Right across the highway from the salt free ocean. Plenty of lighting on the closely surrounding buildings for safety at night. Wonderfully appointed kitchen and living spaces. Comfy and cozy bedrooms. Host was very thoughtful with snacks for us and the doggos. Thank you very much.

My husband and I stayed in the Lookout house. We had a nice view of Lake Superior at the McQuade harbor. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well outfitted. We appreciated the air conditioning because it was unusually hot in the area. This rental is conveniently located halfway between Duluth and Two Harbors. We enjoyed walking around the McQuade harbor, the Two Harbors shoreline and drinking coffee at Cedar Coffee. We went to the Scenic Cafe and the French River. The Lookout house has a nice dining area, comfortable living area and beautiful grounds. I enjoyed the many peony bushes. Joel and Ashley are wonderful hosts. They left snack baskets including the makings for s’mores. Bathrooms were well stocked with extras. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to thick smoke from fires in northern Minnesota. We definitely recommend this cottage and hope to go back in the future.
