Welcome to The Red! A stone's throw away from Drumheller's famous Big Dinosaur, this cozy retreat is an easy walk to downtown, perfect for families looking to enjoy the splash park, fountain, arena, theatre, river pathways and so much more. After a day of exploring, retreat to our private backyard space including fire table and BBQ before retreating indoors to enjoy the lovingly updated interior with modern amenities. We had a nice good visit in Drumheller. The weather was a little chilly but that can be expected in February. The house, although being a little old was nicely decorated and well supplied. The one bathroom in the house has been beautifully redone. The kitchen is fully functional with its characteristic old house slope floors.All bedrooms are upstairs, a little far away. The main bedroom was plenty warm while on the first night the other two were a little cold which is not too surprising considering the blustery cold weather outside. The hosts were awesome. The walkway was scraped before we arrived and the furnace on which made the house toasty warm.Thank you, if we come back to Drumheller we will be back!

We had a great time here over all. The house was a bit older than I thought on the inside, but it’s very cozy and the hosts had access to everything you might need, ie nest thermostat how to use video on a QR code which came in handy! Being frequent visitors to Drumheller in the summertime, we know where everything is. If you were looking for a rental close to everything that Drumheller is about, this is your place. My son was very excited to see the giant dinosaur from the backyard, and just a few houses away from the splash park too. The beds were very comfy, the two queen rooms were a tad cold, however there were space heaters and extra blankets provided. And in the summer that wouldn’t be a problem. The bathroom was spacious and warm. We had a few four legged visitors in the morning, a mule deer mom and her yearlings, which was exciting to see. The kitchen was stocked with all kind of dishes and I was pleasantly surprised to find a cabinet full of kids dishes which come in handy for clumsy little hands. We were also excited to play a few board games after dinner as well. The suite has a really nice washer and drier which would be helpful if we were staying longer, with a highchair available in that room too! All in all I would definitely stay at this house again and would recommend to someone travelling!!

The house is old which has its charms. It has been very well updated, decorated and appointed. The beds were comfortable and the linens fresh. Plenty of dishes, pots and basics in the kitchen so that we could comfortably prepare and eat a meal. Board games were a nice touch. Communication with the hosts was prompt, friendly, and helpful. It was clear that care and attention have been put into the property. Would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay. The host was exceptional at communication, quick and extremely accommodating. As a family with 2 kids it was perhaps a highlight of our vacation to be steps away from the best ice cream shop in town, Valley Ice Cream Shoppe. Skate park, pool, splash park, giant Dino, and farmers market are also a short walk away. We appreciated how clean the home was and that we had more than enough towels and cloths and linens. And to have an air conditioned house in the sweltering heat was incredible. Some reviews noted that being on a Main Street was noisy however we didn’t find it noisy at all. My 70 year old father came with us and he didn’t want to sleep upstairs because stairs can be difficult for him, so instead the host provided a cot which was surprisingly very comfy and allowed my dad to sleep comfortably on the main floor. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you!

Cute house with character. This house was clean and the beds were so incredibly comfortable!!!! The location was perfect for our family as the splash park is a two minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and in the older area of town. The hosts were amazing! They answered right away and even accommodated me by providing me with a blow dryer as I asked about this specifically before we stayed there. The house is on the main road (traffic wasn't too noisy) so you park in the back, this was the only confusing part for us but we figured it out! I would stay here again! It's so nice to have hosts who are friendly and answer any questions promptly and who care about the house and take their responsibility of being a host seriously. I highly recommend this place if you like history and older homes with character. I really love this place!

Property is lovely. Clean. Well stocked with necessities. So close to the big dinosaur! My only word of caution would be that the stairs are very steep for those with any mobility issues, particularly if guests need to us the bathroom during the night.

Great for a small family getaway

Hosts were amazing. Excellent communication and consistent check ins made us feel welcome and supported. House is super bright, clean, cute and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Their backyard and indoor game selection was a nice touch. Multi-day stay went without a hitch. Only thing to be aware of. On one hand the location is phenomenal. You can see the Worlds Largest t-Rex out the back door and can walk there in about 2 minutes. Close to the splash pad, aquatic centre and 2 ice cream shops. On the other hand, the main road through Drumheller is out the front door. We didn’t notice the traffic noise much after about 10, so if it’s not a deal breaker, this is a great stay!!! Kids have asked to return to this property again and we absolutely will.

Great family getaway

The location is great for families with kids, right by the big dinosaur with the splash park and swimming fountain. Central location to go to other attractions in the area. The house has a nice fenced backyard for the kids. Three big beds to sleep in. A well stocked kitchen as well.

Amazing option for a weekend in drumheller!

My friends and I came down for the weekend to sightsee and take some engagement photos. This was the perfect property! The hosts were super responsive, the house was clean and exactly what we were looking for. Within walking distance to the brewery and distillery and really just the ideal location for our group. Very charming home with everything we needed. The beds were also exceptionally comfortable. Thanks so much for such a great experience!

Fall in love with The Red

A wonderful house with character exactly like the pictures. If you have kids (or not) the location is terrific. A nice walk around downtown Drumheller and one of the reasons we came the world's largest Dinosaur is watching over your stay. The hosts Jesse and Megan made the progress smooth and available if you have questions.

Maison propre et confortable

Il s’agit d’une vieille maison qui a été rafraîchie. Elle est bien située près du centre-ville, mais aussi très près de la route provinciale 56. Il y a beaucoup de circulation, notamment des camions lourds qui font trembler la maison. C’est très propre, mais les chambres à l’étage sont très petites. Les propriétaires répondent très rapidement aux messages.C’est très bien pour une famille de cinq personnes: le plus jeune enfant peut dormir avec les parents dans le lit king.
