"Stayed here recently and overall had a good experience. The room was clean, reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and I had no issues with the service. My only real complaint was the curtains in the room. They were so thin they might as well have been tracing paper. In the Isle of Man during summer, when it stays light until around 22:00 and gets bright again very early in the morning, they did very little to block out the light. I ended up hanging clothes over the window just to make the room dark enough to sleep, which isn’t something guests should have to do. If blackout curtains were fitted, I’d have very few complaints. Clean room, great staff, but the window coverings need attention"
