Room is dirty, as is the bathroom. The floors are full of hair and not vacuumed. Surfaces not clean. Fridge does not work well and freezes the food. Very stuffy with poor air circulation unit. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was average for this category. Could've been a good stay if cleaned up.

I got pictures and will turning them in to higher ups n letting social media know y’all can’t even invest in exterminations for ur guest. Clean room, clean bathroom, hot breakfast. For this price point, this was the best hotel that I've stayed at in the last 15 years. Even pre-Covid pricing. Usually for this price point, you're lucky to get clean sheets. But to have a clean room with a clean bathroom and even a waffle maker, let alone a free breakfast just cannot beat it for this price next time. I'm in the area. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. It was comfortable and budget friendly, with the perk of breakfast offerings and free parking. Our room had everything we needed and felt cozy. The bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was great! I would stay here again if I return to the West Des Moines area.

For the price the stay was great. The property is a little dated but for the most part clean. The rooms had a little musty/dusty smell. Parking lot felt a little sketchy but had no issues at all. Staff very friendly. Will stay again if need to

I’m honestly surprised that some people left good reviews about this place. Sure, the price is cheap, but even at this rate, it doesn’t justify getting a hotel room that smells terrible with an air conditioner that’s unbearably loud. On top of that, the room is damp, the carpet is dirty, and when you step on it, it even feels slightly wet. I had to buy an air freshener just to make the smell more bearable. I can’t wait to check out because it’s that uncomfortable. My suggestion: since the service is fine, it would be much better to improve the property so it’s at least decent—and at the very least, not smelly. Oh, and the door has holes, and the towels have turned yellow instead of being white.

The people working behind the desk were the rudest people I have ever dealt with in a hotel. There was a coffee maker in the room and I asked for coffee in order to use the maker and the man behind the desk said only two cups no more. Then when I said it was only decaf he told yelled no more coffee and what I have is what I get. If I don’t like it I can leave and there is no refund on my room I should read what I signed. Then he yelled at the lady that was behind me checking in. It really is to bad because the hotel it self was nice but the staff is the absolute worst. The breakfast was waffles and that was it because the staff said they were not putting anything else out because they always end up wasting food.
