The lock on the door was broken, and the bed made an awful squeaking noise anytime I moved. The shower drain was also broken. The biggest issue I had was that the man at the front counter made a paper copy of my credit card, front and back, and tried to keep it in a Manila envelope on the front counter “for safety.” We argued about it and I ended up taking it from him. Two days after I got home, I had a fraudulent charge on my card; I do not believe this to be a coincidence.

Maybe finish the construction before renting it out: no a/c in the common areas, ie lobby, halls. The Indian food smell coming out of some rooms constantly was horrible. I’m guessing they house their staff there. Room was very clean, lots of towels, mattress was too big for the bed frame so you can’t sit on the edge but definitely comfortable and clean bed and pillows. A/c? Do a better job here folks. It’s Florida = hot. Price? Price gouging like the other area hotels during bike week. Regular rate? $79. Bike week rate $200 / night. Definitely not a $200 / night hotel. Outside it was also very clean. Maybe move the smoking area away from the front lobby. Those folks reak bad odor. You have better options in the same “hotel strip “ near this hotel.

Staff attempted to double charge credit card. Breakfast terrible quality, coffee not drinkable. Tables all broken. TV not working, WiFi not working. Door lock broken and someone tried to break into the room in the middle of the night. Carpets were so dirty. Avoid at all cost. This is not a Quality Inn. It’s a scam.

This hotel is in need of renovations, it is clearly an older hotel and it shows from the front lobby to the scary elevator ride and dark hallways were half the lights were out. Towels were old and dingy looking. I will not be stay here again as I did not feel comfortable or truly safe.

Our room was clean, but the door to the bathroom was broken. The hinges were bent, and the door was hanging 1/2 inch off the wall. The tub was resurfaced with some sort of paint that was peeling, leaving pockets of water lying in the walls of the tub. No coffee maker in the rooms. The mini Fridge did not have a freezer to refreeze our travel coolers reuseable ice packs. We went for breakfast at 8:45 am and not much left to eat. When we went back to get into our room the key did not work. So loading the car one person had to stay in the room while the other packed car. Check out time is 11:00 am I assumed the key would work till then. This is why I rate it so low.

The place was disgustingly dirty. The floors looked like they have not been vacuumed or cleaned since the place was built. The ice machine was so dirty it had mold growing throughout it. The second floor stunk like BO and A mixture of Curry that hit you in the face as soon as you stepped off the elevator. The Breakfast consisted of a bin of cereal and community milk everyone needed to share. It was such a disappointment from the minute we entered. It was so bad we only stayed one out of our 2 nights and had to leave. I can not believe that Quality Inn allows them to operate under their corporation name. The health department needs to be called in on this place. The outlets in our room didn’t even have covers on them and someone can get seriously injured. Never again!!!

Upon booking the room for race weekend …I requested extra towels and also requested early check in . Arrived at the hotel was told we could not check in early. When we got to our room the room was very small not very clean and no extra towels. Called down to front desk for extra towels and they never came. We stayed for two nights so the next day after we got back from Daytona racetrack our room was not touched by house keeping not even any clean towels. Went down to the front desk and explained that housekeeping never came to tidy up and take out garbage and get fresh towels I was then told that you have to request that in advance. We were never told that upon check in. If that is their policy then they should make that is known to their guests upon check in. There was one small garbage can for the whole room which we had three people. Customer service was unacceptable. Elevator was very dirty as well. Overall cleanliness was very poor esp for the price! Will never stay again even if this is the last place available.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, it’s fine, but don’t expect much. It was very worn, and smelled really bad(like smoke, mildew, and old pets). The floors in our room were sticky and gross. Beds were comfy, ac worked, and we had hot water. So like I said, if you need a cheap place to stay it’ll work, but it’s definitely not “nice”.

Even after a remodel with new furniture the room was odd. No closet! Curtains continuously blow out from the air conditioner. Hallways still need a refresh and smell bad. Outside looks much better and it was safe. Staff were friendly.
