"This is the most peaceful, home like spot to get away. The house has everything you need and feels like home. It was quiet, beautifully decorated with all the comfort of home. If you need a place to get away and enjoy the environment this is it. The host had snacks and cold water, toiletries if needed, and a fully stacked kitchen and grill on the beautiful deck. It was fun and offered everything that we needed for this time alone. Would highly recommend. The host responded immediately when I submitted the reservation and answered my questions about directions. We would book this house again if need to in the future."

"Comfortable place to sleep. Not really any breakfast to speak of. Cereal and fruit. The motel was good for the price. Easy access on and off Hwy 287. "

"My husband and I were driving from Denver to Dallas and needed an easy spot to crash for the night. Lone Star Inn fulfilled that need. We were able to book and check-in same day for a one night stay after midnight. The night manager/clerk checked us in quickly. After entering the room, we soon realized that a large portion of the carpet was soaking wet. When my husband told the night manager about the situation and asked for a new room, he apologized and immediately gave a new room assignment. The new room had dry carpeting but the TV remote was missing (we weren't staying long enough for that to be a meaningful issue)."

"We expected chaos as we were staying during "eclipse" weekend. Instead, our room was quiet and clean on the side away from the highway. The beds were comfortable and all three of us slept well. I was thrilled to be assigned to a "non-smoking" room! I had no idea that in 2024 smoking in hotel/motel rooms was even still allowed. Smoking in public spaces has been banned in my state for nearly 20 years! I would not have been able to sleep in a smoker's room and would have ended up "sleeping" in the car. Be advised to request non-smoking if that is important to you. I don't recall seeing any information stating that detail when I reserved the room on Expedia."
