The rooms were definitely clean, but what truly stood out was the staff member overseeing the breakfast area. I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in countless hotels, yet she was by far the most cordial, friendly, and attentive staff member I’ve ever encountered. She checked on us constantly, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Hotel was beautiful and bed was comfortable however the man at check-in was absolutely rude. It was late when we checked in so doors were locked and lobby lights were turned off. Eventually doors were unlocked and we walked in and he did not want to turn the lobby lights on even when I couldn’t find my credit card. We told him several times we couldn’t see and it wasn’t until I couldn’t provide the credit card that he finally turned on the lights and continued to be very rude. Handed us the door cards and said our room was down the hall but didn’t show us which way. It was our first time here and we loved the hotel but not the service we were provided. The morning clerk was very nice and polite and we mentioned the problem to her. She said she would look into it.

Front desk clerk was nice when checking in. The room hadnt been vacuumed in a while. Food crumbs and hair were on carpet and in restroom. Headboard was dirty and didnt look like it had been wiped down in a while. This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and more than likely my last.

The room stated it had a king size bed but it felt more like a full or queen bed. The closet had a nasty odor. We arrived at the breakfast 15 minutes before it ended. There was no more waffle mix so when I asked for more, I was told breakfast ends at 10 am in a rude matter as if I bothered the employee. She then told me she would give me enough for one waffle. I will never stay here again and it’s hard finding a nice hotel in Corpus, so I don’t see how this hotel has such a high rating.
