You are about 20 minutes away from South Padre Island which is nice. Close to some good restraunts. As for the room , very clean but no coffee maker, no cups for water. You have to go to the lobby for those. Breakfast was decent.

Property is fairly new and well maintained. Pool is small and breakfast options were very limited. Coffee machine ground and brewed individual coffee cups, fruit juices and still/sparkling water available on demand in the lobby. Exercise equipment and comfortable seating areas are on 2nd floor. Daily housekeeping for rooms but guests have to ask at desk for extra shampoos/soaps if they stay more than 1 night. Overall very nice stay and excellent location for restaurants and easy access to downtown area and Padre Island.

Just left Atwell suites in Corpus Christi, Texas and it was amazing! The hotel is new so that made our stay even nicer. The rooms were so clean and spacious. We had a sofa, table, bench, fridge and microwave. Some hotels no longer have microwaves so this was a plus. I loved the steam iron and the bathroom is what I always pay the most attention to and it was great! I was especially impressed with the number of free channels they offered. I spent one day relaxing and watching LMN and Tubi. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were so clean. I grabbed some fruit, boiled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon crumbles (wish it was strips) and a blueberry bagel one morning. I love the fact that they offer free coffee and juice 24 hrs a day. The next time we come to Corpus Christi we will definitely stay there again. Hope this helps,!

Nice newer hotel. Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. Bathrooms nice and bed was comfortable. Exercise room was adequate and a nice sitting area/study area was available. Had a nice outdoor pool area, although small. Breakfast was adequate and similar to most IHG hotel breakfasts. I liked the place and would stay again; good value.
