Very disappointing stay
Shower gel was empty. Phone didn’t work. Tv remote didn’t work. Manager offered to move us, but it was in the evening and we already unpacked. Railings on stairs were very loose and dangerous. Only one roll of one-ply toilet paper available. Only one hard chair in room. Towel rack was on the other side of the shower. No toilet lid to put towels on near the shower. Comfortable bed. No vending machines. The web site for the hotel described word class accommodations, beach bar and restaurant. There was beach bar and no restaurant. This was our honeymoon weekend and very disappointing. The manager was very nice and did his best to help with what he had to work with. We also had to put a $100.00 deposit on the room when we checked in. There was a sign at the front desk stating that the room had to be checked within 15 minutes of checking in to report any damage or problems. We didn’t see the sign until we checked out. That should have been explained at checkin. We did sightseeing during the day and didn’t discover the tv and phone problem til that evening. Even if the tv had worked there was no guide for channels. Even if the phone worked there was no guide to tell you how to call the front desk.
