Room was a good size but you could hear people talking in adjacent rooms and a kid in the room above jumping off the furniture sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. Air conditioning just heated the room...even when shut off, mini fridge compressor was off balance and vibrated, cleaners did not leave enough towels, elevator bounced like it was going to fall. Building was nice to look at but we should have stayed somewhere else.

It would be great if Steele Hotels put some money back I to the building itself. The water damage is very apparent. Painting is unfinished. The quality of breakfast food isn't good, particularly the hollandaise and ham. The cooking oil for potatoes was old. The king bed was very comfortable.

This hotel has a lot of history behind it but it's definitely old and outdated although the rooms were clean. We stayed there twice and the second time we got a more updated room. They have dining options but never dined there. It's conveniently located and walkable to many restaurants and stores and parking was free.
