The guy at the front desk was outstanding. But other than that, the place wasn’t great. The bathroom smelled like someone had just used it. An awful, putrid foul odor. There are also a group of people hanging outside by our room. We thought we were homeless. When I inquired about it, I learned that it was the maintenance guy, but it was clearly his friends hanging out that needed somewhere to stay. They were very loud through the night and it didn’t feel very safe. I’m wondering if they used the restroom before we checked into it, perhaps getting the key from the maintenance guy. Stayed in several hotels on our road trip and this was our least favorite by far.

I did not like the access to the room, because you had to walk over sloped grass to load and unload your car. The ground was too far to jump for a handicap or elderly person, so the only option was to go up and down the steps to carry belongings. That was my only complaint.

I reply on reviews when I book a hotel room, so this is my honest review. I would never stay at this hotel again. It felt very dirty inside and out, the floor boards near the front door was laying on the floor when we arrived. The curtains where tore at several spots, the sheets were clean but nothing else was. It was very loud with people who lived at this hotel, which I did not know, fighting and yelling very early in the morning. There were men walking around outside their rooms with only underwear on. We got out of this place as soon as we could.

The property was acceptably clean inside, but the parking area not so great. It was awfully difficult to fing the hotel after dark, because of its lication behind another hotel -- the entry is through the parking lot of another hotel with no signage indicating it. Quite frustrating.

Decent Stay for price

Very convenient. Check-in clerk was excellent customer service. Door did not have a lock on the inside but had the flip lever so it would only open 2 inches if someone unlocked from outside. Blinds had some scratch holes in it. Room was clean. Had a double queen bed and one of the comforters was stained. Breakfast had good waffles. Apple juice pre-measured cups, water and coffee. Apples, boiled eggs, Dannon yogurt, a packaged granola bar, and blueberry muffin. Overall was a decent stay for the price and would definitely stay again.
