Avel Dro is this great family home where life is good, a house entirely turned towards the sea, located on the Corniche de Concarneau.



The space



Ideally located on the first line of the Concarnoise cornice, facing the beach of the Mine, small cove with its rocks for fishing on foot for young and old, it benefits from a hold for launching the Kayaks and Paddles. Located between Cornwall and Les Dames beaches, this house is a perfect place for a family vacation.



Real family of 190 m², it will fill you with its volumes as soon as you arrive, discover a spacious entrance that serves the stairs and the large living space. You will enjoy spending time in its large living room where you can distinguish a comfortable living room, a dining area open to a veranda with a second space for lunch as close as possible to the sea. A space open to the outside in order to contemplate the sea view and its magnificent sunsets. A large equipped kitchen completes this family living room.



A long corridor on the ground floor serves a bathroom, a separate toilet, a laundry room, as well as a bedroom equipped with a TV which allows you to enjoy a life on one level.



Upstairs, you will find a children's room equipped with a cot, a changing table, an adaptable chair and a desk. The corridor also serves two other bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds that can accommodate 4 children, a second bathroom as well as a second toilet.



On the outside, enjoy a sunny terrace facing the sea on a completely enclosed space. Equipped with a comfortable garden furniture, deckchairs and a barbecue on the end of the day will be even more beautiful.

Too expensive for not being really inviting.

The house itself is indeed nice and beautiful. The kitchen and laundry facilties are very good. Everything is clean and maintained. The location is right at the seashore street and promenade, so you do have a nice view. There is a nice wind-sheltered porch where you can enjoy the ocean view. But you are also partially exposed to the people passing by which is not ideal for privacy. Unfortunately the furnishing is not really done with care. There are 4 bright bedrooms with smaller beds and bunk beds on the upper floor but the only real double bed is situated in the smallest and darkest ground floor room - not comfortable. The size and furnishing of the living room does not match the number of people the bedrooms can host. There is a corner couch and a extremely big TV screen but no armchairs - just three wicker chairs. For the three of us it was OK but there was no couchtable to put a book, a computer or a drink. Not cosy. In short: the house has its qualities however we found it not inviting enough for the price we paid.
