I only gave four stars for the last two as they are undergoing renovations however the staff is friendly and the manager/owner is fair and he does go above and beyond for his guests. First off ignore the negative reviews of what people say, it is a budget motel so it is going to not be what people think is a five-star Hilton but for the price it is pretty good and Sonny and his employees go above and beyond for their guests I feel safer at this place than I do it any other motel. Also the rates are some of the cheapest around town and it is a very convenient location and close to a lot of restaurants, retailers, gas stations in parks.

There was minimal parking due to the construction going on which also meant checking in at the “Office” was in one of the rooms. Our room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette butts littered all around the parking area. The picture on the small TV was messed up, but still functioning. On a positive note, all of the sheets and towels smelled clean and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Parking wasn’t the best, but manageable. The building itself is older and looks a bit rough, but for the price it turned out to be a good value. I didn’t encounter any bugs or rodents, and the environment was quiet with no issues related to theft, vandalism, or safety. An added bonus is the Denny’s right next door, which was very convenient.

parking lot had construction materials covering half of it but likely just temporary. Honestly a solid get what you pay for pick. One of my rooms lightbulbs in the lamp did not turn on and it left half the room pretty dark the whole time without having to open a window where anyone can walk up to it and look in. Was able to hear a bit of noise from room next to me at times.
