We arrived at the hotel at 1:15 a.m. and were told they needed to check the room to see if it was ready, which made no sense since check-in time is 3:00 p.m. The staff member then brought towels down, making it obvious that someone had been staying in that room before us.
The room was in terrible condition. There was a constant ticking sound all night, and the air conditioner barely worked. When I brought up the issues, the woman who checked us in blamed the company I booked through and said it wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
The room was dirty — silverware still had food stuck on it, there was a wet towel hanging up, and the fold-out bed wouldn’t stay up, repeatedly falling down. I was told there were clean sheets in the closet, but the sheets on the bed were clearly dirty. I have pictures of dirt on the walls, ceiling, and the broken bed.
If it hadn’t been almost 1:45 a.m. by the time we finally got into the room, and if we didn’t have to be up at 7:00 a.m. for my son’s track meet, we would have left and stayed somewhere else.
Overall, this hotel deserves zero stars.
