Beds are very comfortable and clean. Was given a room with a great view which was very much appreciated. However, the shower had a considerable amount of black mold. Not sure why you would have wallpaper in a bathroom with no ventilation. As someone who is allergic to mold this was a bit of a bummer. The rest of the hotel seemed in tip top condition and the staff were fantastic.

We stayed one night. Beds were comfy. Plenty of hot water for showers. Bar was only open til 9 pm. Restaurant opens at 9 am. Walked to the Goddess and the Baker for breakfast before that.

Charming, historic hotel in absolutely ideal location, steps from Chicago Theatre, Michigan Ave and Millenium Park. Nice touches of hospitality, like free welcome drink, plate of berries and macaroons and a bottle of Prosecco.

They deserve a higher than a 5 star rating ! The room and the view was amazing. Very clean the robes and towels and the beds were the most comfortable items I have ever seen. And the staff? They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. And to find out it’s a pet friendly hotel? I most definitely will be back. All the extra amenities on top of everything? This place is a must stay hotel.

Stayed here when it was the Burnham and thankfully it is still a gorgeous property. Very noisy outside - street “drummers” were loud and incessant from 8am - 7pm. Missed the old wine/happy hour.
