The front desk refused my credit card because Google said it wasn’t a major credit card — ignoring that it was a Wells Fargo issued Mastercard. Took about 40 minutes to get them to finally look at the card and call the bank to confirm. Walks are thin so noise in the hall carries but otherwise clean and comfortable.

The phone line for the shuttle was not working and I had to pay 25 dollars for a cab. The staff were welcoming but couldn’t refund me my taxi money and also acknowledged there was an issue with the phone line. Room was nice but the bathroom could have done with cleaning better. I’m the corners there were still hair and dirt. In the morning the self service machine was not excepting cards payment for water, and they didn’t take cash. No a great experience when running the Chicago marathon. All the staff kept telling me is to call head office to complain.

Good place to spend a few days if you can stay put

The shuttle was an essential service. Thank you. The kitchen was well enough furnished to prepare a few meals. The coffee in the room was much better than the coffee in the lobby. And the proximity of a food and drink source gave me close access to sandwiches and breakfast items, cheaper than what was on offer in the hotel.

The staff at check in refused to accept my Mastercard for the security deposit hold because it wasn’t a Wells Fargo, Chase or BofA card but IT IS a major credit card. The room was dirty. My TV did not turn on. I reported to front desk and they said most of the TVs were like that. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

The rooms were very clean. Just to inform that we only had one spoon and no forks. I made a note to the room staff so we wouldn't be charged for taking the flatware. The bathtub shower creaked badly when taking a shower.
