Went for a weekend retreat with my partner after dedicating a lot of time to life-work adjustments. The resort is quite pleasant when you enter it, nice lobby presentation. It would have been nicer if the lobby would have been placed at the middle of the first building, considering the distance you have to walk to reach your room (and the floors you have to travel to get there). I decided to book an extra night so we can go straight to work from the hotel. The agent who assisted me, Amber, was helpful and assertive with everting, confirming all was well. However, it seems there is a slight issue in internal communications. I received an invoice on my second night indicating the original reservations details and I wanted to confirm that the adjustment had been made with my booking. I spoke with Brenda and she seemed oblivious to the changes and was giving me the same disclosures Amber had given me when I had agreed to the additional night. Before receiving the invoice, Simone had knocked on the door early in the morning, waking me up. I went to check quick but there was nobody there. The hotel gave me a credit for the inconvenience. I also had an issue with the facilities for entertainment and recreation. I went with my partner to play bowling but it was already closed slightly after 5 on a Sunday. I also had booked a massage at the Spa but the receptionist Alyssa lacked a lot of professionalism. Overall, it was a little disappointing but the pool and sauna were pretty okay.
