Nice hotel, friendly service. Room was dated and disappointing for the price. Tub was yellow and grungy. Furniture was quite old. Our room was across from the ice machine and vending machine room which was very loud late into the night.

The Read House is a fantastic hotel! Loved the hotel decor dedicated the 20's & 30's. All staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the room next to the Haunted Room, so that was a fun bonus for the kids. **Only thing I wish is if they put more hooks in the bathroom to hang up multiple towels.

Hotel was very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Room was very clean and beds were incredibly comfortable. Was slightly loud on weekend nights outside the hotel but that is to be expected in a downtown location! Loved that Starbucks had it's own entrance from the hotel and the pool was very clean as well. Good location for walking to many restaurants. Valet service was excellent and timely. Will definitely be staying here again.
