The staff was great, friendly and very helpful! The hotel is nice and the staff make this facility amazing. The breakfast was not authentic Colombian. It was hard to get coffee during breakfast too. The rooms are small but perfect for what we needed and the room was mostly clean. Too bad the hotel is in a horri le part of town. Going to the beach was OUT OF THE QUESTION! Walking in and out of the hotel, you get bombarded with pedelars that won't take No for an answer and will follow you down the block. If you visit this nice hotel, be firm and careful with everyone you meet outside of the hotel

Unfriendly staff for the most part. Although there are numerous things to mention, so many were posted from my first stay, Three things really stand out this time. 1) was stopped before entering elevator with 3 other guests and questioned about who we were and where we were going. Never saw anyone one else treated that way. 2) a friend stoped by and eventuality went to use the ladies room in the lobby and once inside the the cleaning person started banging on her door telling her to get out. There were no indication to not enter. She was visibly upset especially when there was another lady of a lighter shade also using the restroom without incident. 3) At approximately 6:30am i was awakend by a call from the from desk stating that they were calling the police on me regarding a visitor. Not being fluent in spanish i hung up when down to find out what was going on. Apparently someone had a visitor that overstayed the 5 am limit and they thought that it was me. Upon examination it was someone else and i left the desk with no apology. Later i found out it was someone in room 1613 and i was in 1013. This is the second time staying in this new hotel and i will never return. As a professional black american man that has traveled the world extensively for 40 years, this has been by far the worst experience i have had.

People. I traveled before to Cartagena but like this hotel is never seen before. Staff is verry attend. Breakfast is amazing. The lobby has 2x part. Inside or outside at the edge of the street where you can sit and enjoy the streetlife. Everything is walking distance. They even remember my wife B Day because my wife only commented 1 day before with the bartender. At night when we came in our room they left a BDay dessert cake.

I enjoyed my stay at the OZ collection. The staff was polite and accommodating. The hotel was very chic and well decorated and maintained. The only minor annoyance was how long you have to wait for the elevator and the beds weren’t as soft to my liking however overall- I will definitely make this hotel on my favorite list!!!
