My room air conditioning was not working, when asked to switch my room they insisted I must wait some more time for it to “kick in”. I insisted if they did not change my room I would call the police. That’s when they finally gave me a room with working AC.

I found this to be a nice quiet clean hotel. It’s only a block to the beach and sure by many restaurants. Breakfast here is nothing special but it is good enough to get your day going. The staff treated us ok. My only complaint was they need to update or upgrade the AC units. In our room the AC seemed to have to positions; full on or full off. this isn’t the Ritz, and doesn’t have a lot of amenities, but if you need a good night sleep in the heart of Cartagena’s BocaGrande, this place is more than adequate

Pretty hotel in a nice area. It’s close to lots of restaurants and within walking distance to one of the beaches. We love walking, so we even walked to the town center—but you can easily take a taxi if you prefer.
