The location of this hotel was great. We could walk to the Walled City and it was right across from the beach. However, everyday, it seemed like they were doing repairs and we smelled paint by pool and in other areas of the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool area and chairs could be better maintained.

Old colonial building that has been renovated. Rooms are not as big/nice as seen on the pictures. Friendly staff. Nice pool and rooftop patio. Location is not the best only because it’s on a main road and it’s very insecure to walk to the old city.

I’m from Naples, Florida and I traveled to Cartagena to go on a cruise with my fiancé. I will tell you staying at this hotel for one night was an incredible treat. First of all I was greeted by a young man named David who is the definition of great customer service he took in our luggage, gave us nice cold towels, a mocktail and was very attentive. The young ladies at the desk were incredible. The weight staff the bartenders the hotel interior gives you a very Moroccan Marrakesh feel and the food was incredible. It was a great start to our vacation. We’re coming back and I’m gonna stay one more night in this hotel if you’re going to Cartagena, this is a great experience. This hotel is run the right way and I must say I would hire David for my company any day of the week. Thanks for a great experience
