"Riverview Inn, Roseburg: What a nice surprise that due to having been built on a hillside, both the 1st Level rooms AND 2nd Level rooms have 'ground level" parking and entrances, and almost all rooms have river view. Having purchased "sight unseen", Ashley was most Gracious and Helpful in making our room change request when we did see the lay-out of the place. 3rd Level rooms are only one flight/stairs up from parking. 2nd and 3rd Level rooms have balconies. Easy walk down to the river garden path. There is some MORNING noise heard from traffic and train, but not much. Room 202 was spacious, clean, comfortable beds, wonderful shower pressure. Nice room amenities. Heater worked nicely. Continental Breakfast is quite light, good enough, but there are good restaurants within walking distance. A delightful find: Riverview Inn."

"We cannot say enough great things about this home! Very clean, very comfortable, quiet and decorated so cute! The breakfast, cooked by Genelle's son, was SO delicious! We only were able to spend one night, as we were traveling through, but are definitely going back to enjoy the grounds and home more. We had a great night's sleep and the attention to detail in our comfort (fresh cold still or sparkling water, easily accessible coffee/tea, wine upon arrival if wanted, cozy robes etc) was above and beyond. Don’t expect a television or extras, but you can expect to chat with fellow guests on a patio, sitting room while rocking in a chair on a balcony or while playing a provided game in the old dance hall room while chatting about Food is good in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast."

"The room was clean. Had fridge and microwave. No coffee maker but there is a store with coffee cart across the street. The owner was friendly and very helpful. My first night, I was cold and couldn’t get the heater to work. The next day when I asked about it, I was told there are switches on the wall when you first come in that activate the plugs for the heater and the refrigerator. I suggested they put labels on those switches so people would know. All in all, it was comfortable, clean, convenient location for me and affordable."
