This location is easily accessible to the highway exit for heading to ski slopes and into the tourist destination of Banff townsite. The rooms are clean and ready for guests with mini fridge and coffee machine. Ear plugs are provided as the train track is relatively close and might pose a problem to those light sleepers. We find turning on the fan on the room air blocks out most noise. On the second floor you will find a complimentary cappuccino coffee/tea maker, microwave, and kettle. The ice machine is also located in this area. This is all outside the great room which is like a larger solarium with many chairs/ sofas to lounge and tables for gathering. It’s quite a peaceful area to be in. There are many restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops all within walking distance with pathways that link to the main town site with more shops and all around stunning scenery. The staff are very friendly and are available to serve as needed. Overall a good location for a shorter stay as I was in the main lodge

The #1 issue is this hotel is literally beside railroad tracks. Something that's not disclosed in their description (of course). The room even came with ear plugs in a jar in the bathroom....a first for me. Trains come about every 30 minutes all day and night.
