You couldn’t really sit outside because there was too many mosquitoes plus when you go to the restaurant it’s boiling outside but when you’re going to the restaurant, it’s freezing. It’s uncomfortably cold so I had to wear a jumper. Couldn’t wear my outfits every evening.

The pools in the hotel were great. The restaurant s were fine just really hard to make reservations for dinner. The buffet was average. The room service is excellent though. At the lobby, “super Mario” said he will take care of us for the entire stay but after we denied the meeting, he never talked to us. He didn’t tell us the opening hours of the pools or help with any restaurants. We had to figure out all by ourselves by holding a map and asking people for our first two days. It will be much better if more information is provided when he sat down with us claiming he is going yo take care of us rather than just aiming for us attending the meeting.

Staff is amazing. Housekeeping cleaned rooms twice daily. No matter what pool you choose waiter will got to you and bring you your drink anythime anywhere. Every morning at breakfast where filter coffee us served ( but we like esspresso) waiter would go to the bar in the lobby to get us esspresso. Girls in the kids club are engaged with kidscto the max. They taking kids to pool, to visit dolphins, thy do all kinds of outdoor and indoor activities . My 6 years old boy litterally cried last night and didnt want to go home. Breakfast options are buffet standard. Good , many varieties but personaly i am not fan of buffet , and i liked mexican varieties in the options. Several a la cart restaurants within resort offer variety of different world cuisine and food is amazing . Japanise , French , Italian , Mediteranian, American and of course Mexican a la cart dinjng for lunch and dinner. Every night 3-4 different shows at 3 different location/times and not boring shows but nice performers . Two rooftop pools , Adult only pool , Big jump with 12 feet deep pool Grear slide for kids and adults 3 beaches I am impressed and will be back

We had a great stay! We upgraded for $50 to an ocean-view suite, which was totally worth it. The highlight was definitely the pool with the cliff jump — so much fun for both my kid and I! Rooms and facilities were clean and the staff were helpful. The only thing to note is that while it’s an all-inclusive resort, food isn’t available at all hours. Make sure to check the restaurant schedules so you know when and where meals are being served. Overall, we had an awesome time and would definitely come back.

Bartenders and servers around pools were awesome, so many different signature cocktails. Lots of pools, bars, restaurants to tryout. Properties were beautiful however the mosquitoes were so bad that we got bit no matter where we were (our room, bar, lobby, restaurants, walking around outside, day, or night)!! Not sure why they were so bad, heard it was due to all the rain they had got but they also have swamp throughout all the Properties with 3 crocodiles so stagnate water. Beach area doesn’t exist here unfortunately and smelled from seaweed. That was a bummer. Entertainment shows were good, especially the fire show (it was probably the best show at resort I've ever seen). Wish could of had dining outside and by pools or cooking outside special foods, but they don't have that. Also, seemed odd that no Mexican Restaurant. The staff was awesome and made our stay very welcoming and fun!

Property was very nice. Staff was great. My 5 year old loved the girls that ran the Kids Club. Food was really good. We only tried out 2 of the restaurants and did the buffets the rest. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes. I know it was mostly due to the time of year and the recent rain but they were bad. We didn't get to enjoy the taco festival that was outside at night. We heard from other travelers that other resorts had the same issue that week. So not blaming the resort.

We stayed at Hotel Marina El Cid in Cancún for five nights. Overall, the resort was nice and had a lot of potential for a great stay. However, the last three nights were extremely unpleasant because of the overwhelming number of mosquitoes that came out in the evenings. My wife, children, and I were constantly getting bitten, and it really affected our ability to enjoy the trip. It didn’t seem like the resort was doing much to address the issue—there was no noticeable spraying or prevention efforts. If not for this problem, our experience would have been much better.
