The hotel is an impressive structure amongst other impressive buildings. Reception staff are good and sort things out efficiently.
The rooms are generous in size and are fitted very nicely. Big patio doors are nice but a tad heavy to open.
The rooms are well cleaned each day.
The restaurant is ok.
The bar is nice and the barman particularly good.
Outside the grounds are quite fantastic as is the pool and the lazy river.
Eating locally is limited but quite good.
The infrastructure of the surrounding grounds and roads has had a massive investment at some point, but clearly no running costs as several paved areas are looking a bit sad.
The beach in-front of the hotel is lovely, but lots of plastic rubbish not too far along to either side of the maintained beach.
We extended our stay here, so that says something for the place.
