"I would give this property a 10!!! First of all, the location is great, we enjoyed listening to the ocean. We especially like the 3rd. Floor because the 4th floor gave you a lot of shade. The 4th floor could be brutal with full Sun. The property was CLEAN and came with all the amenities including Beach Chairs and beach Towels (an added Plus). There are two outdoor gas grills which was a nice touch. We actually planning our next visit there for next year! This island is WONDERFUL, however you need to plan ahead for food. On Saturday there is a small farmers market on Haig Pt Rd. vegetables, fresh fish, Shrimp but no Meats. The two general stores have very limited supplies. The Old Daufuskie Crab Company is the place to Eat and Hang Out. The Pubic Dock is the BEST spot for Sunset Pictures!!!! On a side note: we use Bull Marina on Wilmington Island, there are two Grocery stores nearby to stock up on food. But Don’t go crazy with ice, it adds weight to the boat. We froze some of our food! Otherwise, enjoy this Property and Island!!! It’s like stepping by in time!"

"Everything was awesone!! Very beautifully decorated and furnished. Anything you would want was there. Very spacious. Wide doors and furnished with all the necessities. Kitchen had every tool imagjnable. I am disabled...unable to walk without a rollator, but had no problems moving around the house. Shower was huge, so i did have to take my rollator in the shower so i could safely wash mh hair as there are no handicapped bars. Also, i nrought a commode riser which made the commode work for me. The beautiful sun glistening on the water was a gorgeous view out the back door. Golf cart was a very nice way to get around the island."

"This was a really nice condo and the location was perfect! Owners were responsive and accommodating. The island was a step back in time as far as a natural setting. Explore the history of the island before your trip to get the most of your adventure. The girls in our group highly recommend the Gullah Tour with Miss Sally Ann. Daufuskie Life provided a great golf cart, essential for getting around the island and exploring. Freeport was great for sunsets, meeting locals and other vacationers, drinks and food. This was perfect getaway from the crowded beaches we are all used to. We virtually had the beach in Bloody Point to ourselves. Perfect for long walks. Also saw an abundance of wildlife."

"We’ve stayed at Templeton Cottage a few times. It’s always very quiet and very relaxing. We love that it’s tucked away in the woods, and my wife is an avid bird watcher and we enjoy sitting on the upper back deck and looking out over the wetland and birdwatching. It’s close to the beach and tucked away just perfectly."
