Private driveway and separate entrance lead to a spacious suite set off a large deck overlooking a serene half-acre treed yard. This inviting retreat blends rustic charm with modern comforts, creating the perfect escape in nature. In the spring and summer, enjoy a handcrafted outdoor log table and comfortable patio furniture—ideal for dining or unwinding in the fresh mountain air.
Located just 300 m from local pubs, restaurants, and a grocery store, you’ll have convenience while still feeling tucked away. Spend your evenings around the large fire pit (some firewood provided) under the stars. The Elbow River is less than 100 m west of the property, with easy access for a peaceful walk or a refreshing dip.
The thoughtfully updated kitchenette offers a sink, cupboards, and essential cooking amenities. Outside, enjoy a natural gas barbecue with a side burner, along with pots and pans provided—perfect for preparing full meals in a relaxed outdoor setting. There is no stove in the suite. Just the barbecue and side burner for cooking outside. I provide some olive oil, red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar. Coffee and tea provided. There is a 3/4 size fridge without a freezer. Toaster and kettle as well.
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, featuring a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. There's a private patio. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment.

We felt so at home in this beautiful cabin. The owner provided more than we expected. It was cozy, there were beautiful trees surrounding it. It’s walking distance to town. Very clean! Worth every penny.

Very cozy, clean and comfortable place to stay. Morning coffee on the deck, evening sits around the fire pit, surrounded by beauty with the sound of the river. We stayed 3 nights for our annual girls birthday trip. We shopped, hiked and spent a day at the Kananaskis Nordic spa. The cost to stay was very reasonable. We already have plans to stay next year!

Amazing cabin

Quiet cozy log style cabin. Super clean, massive yard great for soccer, huge fire pit! Being so close to town literally 2 blocks away this property really makes you feel like you’re in nature or even camping! We will be back to this property!

The cabin was lovely and the area around it was beautiful. We loved how walkable the area was. The host was quick to respond and communicate. The only downside is the lack of kitchen and dishes. The microwave was also unusuable as the door would not open. Other than those few things, we enjoyed our stay.

we had a great time with the family, there was lots to do and was right in town, the gas station and grocery store was a 10 min walk with lots of other stores nearby including a few restaurants. The place was clean and cozy on a nice property with a hammock and firepit. The only thing is that their kitchen doesnt have a stove, just a microwave . Other than that it was a great place and would recommend.:-)

One of the highlights was that some deer visited us every day, which made our stay even more special. Mooie cabin in een leuk dorp. Prachtige natuur. De herten lopen gewoon door de tuin. We misten wel een kookplaatje, maar de BBQ was geweldig en hebben we goed gebruikt. Fijne bedden.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The wildlife wandering through the property was a delight to see we felt as if we were in the wilderness yet we were only blocks away from all the amenities , even live entertainment, we would definitely stay again.
