Huge dissapointment, we travelled from the UK based off the listing of a peaceful and private setting. There is a camera set up outside facing INTO the unit (which is illegal), it moves and watches every step you make, unsure if recording sound. Completely unnacceptable and goes against AB privacy laws. A camera should never be facing into the unit. The garden was full of weeds, uneven rocky terrain, with caution tape and an old demolished rusted metal swingset, not suitable for sitting around the fire as advertised. Inside was dirty and unnacceptable condition, dirty floors, hardened food on floors. We purchased dish towels and washed everything prior to use as there was old food and stains in the mugs, bowls, and other kitchen dishes. The unit had a smell of cat litter (unsure if this is from upstairs renters but it was gross). The dryer lint tray was full including animal fur, prior to our use. The renter upstairs was rude and came into our outdoor area multiple times, so this along with the camera watching us inside, required you keeping the curtains fully closed at all times. We raised this with the owner after the stay as it was very uncomfortable and no where feesible to go over the August Long weekend, the owner took no accountability and made excuses for everything. If I had more space to write I would, absolutely NOT recommended. Falsely advertised and given 85$ refund for my 'cleaning efforts'. Full pictures taken of everything and all owner did was argue.
