We stayed in the Guesthouse 17. For the price and location it was excellent. So close to the main city squares. Room was clean. In the Guesthouse be prepared to climb a couple flights of stairs.

The location was perfect for a stay in the historic city center. Extremely walkable and beautiful accommodations. The breakfast was incredible and service was wonderful. If we are ever in Bruges again, we will be staying here again.

October in Bruges

We stayed at The Pand 17 next door to the main hotel. Our room at the top was nicely furnished & we had 2 large windows for views of the street which let in lots of light. We had a fridge o our room & was able to get fresh milk every day so we could make a hot drink. The staff were friendly & helpful & we were able to have drinks in the courtyard & enjoy the ambiance of the main hotel.

Great place, great location, small problem.

Great location just a few meters from the center. Great service on checkin and during stay. Issue was with the shower. Drain was clogged and couldn’t take a proper shower without water overflowing into floor. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Pand 17 was absolutely perfect for our needs. The accommodation was charming, spotlessly clean, and offered excellent value for the price we paid. The staff were exceptionally warm and caring—they took the time to show us to our room and, without prompting, provided a map along with thoughtful recommendations for the best sights and activities in Bruges. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Bruges, within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, a grocery store, and a lovely park just around the corner. Our room was ideal for two people: comfortable, well-maintained, and cozy. The only suggestion we would offer is the addition of a kettle in the room for added convenience. Also, note that the bathrooms do not have fans, so they tend to steam up quickly. We wish we had stayed longer and would not hesitate to return

Breakfast was amazing,as always. The couple who serve,are just so lovely. We have been coming to the Pand for many years. Originally when The Van Haek family owned The Pand . Frankly it is just not the same standard. Breakfast is always fabulous (the couple have been there for many years,and worked for the original owners,as above). We have never stayed in the Guest house,only The Hotel.So we decided to try The adjoining guest house. Frankly the hallway is quite shabby,and carpet needs a good clean. The room was ok ,sink needs sorting,as plug is not draining,but no big deal. What absolutely ruined our stay ,was the manager,behind the desk. Who was quite charming,up until check out. When we arrived,I enquired about parking,as my husband has a blue badge,and his knees were certainly playing up. The manager said,at that time,that we could park anywhere within white lines,with his badge up ,but he said that we could stay were we were,as this belonged to The Hotel.At which stage,I asked if I needed to put his badge up,twice I asked the question. He assured me I did not,as before,because it was owned by the Hotel.Upon check out,I was told there was a €30 charge for parking,I questioned this,as above. He spoke to me as if I was an idiot,that he told me this.He didn’t! My husband then came in &confirmed that. He then virtually threw the money at me. As we left a couple who were at the desk,said to me,how rude he was to them also! Sadly we will not be back,due to his attitude!

Particulièrement bien situé à quelques pas des plus beaux coins du vieux Bruges, l'hotel est très agréable et nous a proposé une grande chambre très confortable et bien équipée. L'accueil a été très bon. Il faut noter en particulier la qualité du petit déjeuner servi dans une belle salle avec un service remarquable du maître d'hôtel et de son épouse. La meilleure manière de commencer la journée. Nous espérons venir encore à Bruges et dans ce cas résider dans cet hôtel.

O hotel, em geral, é muito bom. Fiquei no quarto 3 da Guesthouse, que tem o desconforto da escada, mas era algo que eu já sabia e tinha sido avisado antes. Quarto muito confortável, espaçoso e com excelente banheiro. Café da manhã é fantástico e o staff amigável e gentil. Vou um problema de comunicação, que se repetiu: primeiro a atendente não me deu o retorno sobre reserva de restaurante, o que me in impediu de jantar onde desejava; depois, me passou a informação equivocada a respeito de valores de táxi para Amsterdam, o que me forçou a trocar de planos em cima da hora. Não fosse isso a estadia teria sido perfeita
