The cottage was a breath of fresh air. Rustic, clean and secluded. Despite the long drive, the cottage welcomed us into total relaxation. We will definitely be returning to paradise.

As campers - we enjoyed the primitive cabin feel with some of the kitchen amenities. Amazingly clean given the age and location. Fun to use the boats and explore the island. Unique Stay!

This property is a rustic cabin right on the lake. There are lights, water, power so you are not really roughing it. But wood stove for heat so make sure you have something to light stove if you need it. Has canoes, kayaks to use free of charge of you want.

These cottages and the island are a piece of the history of this area and we were thrilled with our stay. Very rustic and unspoiled - Pat made us feel 100% welcome :) Everything we could want or need was readily available … canoes, bicycles, wood for the outdoor campfire or woodstove in the cottage all included - she even made sure we knew where to find the best view of the sunset! We wanted a rustic, comfy, unspoiled place to stay and this place delivered that experience 100%. We would have loved to stay longer and experience staying at the lighthouse that’s for sure!
