The furnace was too hot and we were unable to turn it off. The room came with an AC unit but the combination of the hot air from the furnace and the cold air from the AC unit was uncomfortable.

If you're low maintenance and traveling alone and can ignore the shared bathroom part, it's perfect. I'm all of these things so my stay was pretty good. I just needed a bed to sleep in at night and the mattress was comfortable. Not bad.

The room is tiny, just big enough for the Queen size-bed and you have to step over the corners to go to the other side of the room. The bathroom was clean but also tiny. At night on our last day, we kept hearing noises, and my wife noticed it was a rat chewing on the trash bag. That experience ruined it for us and we were more than ready to go! After finding the rat, we did find mouse traps in the room. Also, we asked where to store the food trash to remove the temptation for the rats, but we were instructed to leave it in the room. We wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Pay another $20-80/day and stay elsewhere.

I liked the door code check-in - it takes zero seconds. I also appreciate that I saved a lot of money on my stay. I felt safe and the bedding was very nice. The property is rather old and decades beyond needing a total renovation. A lot of repairs and maintenance are slipshod. Many fixtures look like they were purchased second hand and moved here. The doors have lots of filled holes from previous lock mounting, for example. The cold water was never cold, leaving the shower too hot to use. If you're okay with hostels, this can be an okay choice, but it's not a "hotel". An extensive list of rules they send you before check-in indicates they have problems with some guests; however, everyone during my mid-week stay was quiet and respectful.

No place to store clothes. Entry was confusing - there were two entry doors, code worked on one and no indication which door leads to unit. Location is perfect. All doors are ‘shaky’ and rubbing floors

The unit was in peerless condition. Almost exactly what I expected (actually, a bit better). Communication was perfect. The unit was even offered for an unexpectedly early check-in.

Great stay

Convenient location! My friend and I love to walk! It was about 30 mins walk to little Italy. But about 12 mins to the main park and freedom trail. Small room but comfortable and just what we needed for our stay. They let us leave our luggage early for a fee.

There are many things I did not like: 1. Shabby - peeling paint and wallpaper 2. Bed uncomfortable. It did not fit into its space and I had to squeeze myself between the wall and the bed to get into it. I'm slim. 3. The electrical system does not support the requirements and the property would probably fail an electrical inspection. The GFCI breaker in the bathroom tripped on several occasions, probably because the light switch was hanging out of the wall. When I took a shower, the moisture build up probably caused the exposed wires in the light switch to short out. This is very hazardous indeed. 4. There was only regular coffee with the coffee maker - no decaf and no tea, which I like in the late afternoon. 5. The carpet was old and curled up at the corners and I had to be careful not to trip over it. 6. One window blind did not pull down to fill the window and thus people in the street could see in. 7. The shower itself had two tiles which had come unstuck. There was very little grout on the shower floor. Thus, the shower water was probably leaking into the ceiling below. The shower floor was made or durable tile and because two of them were completely loose and wobbly, you could injure your foot because the edges of the tiles were sharp. 8. On the first night, I got bitten by an insect. I didn't think much about it at the time but as time went by, the site of the bite got infected. When I returned home, I had to go to the emergency room. It turned out to be a spider bite.
