The comfy bed with wonderful linens, the attentive staff, the room appointments with a Bosch fridge, a stainless sink, a Nespresso machine and more. Not to mention that the hotel is within walking distance to Brookline restaurants. I will definitely be back.

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. The room was not very clean, and the bathroom hygiene could be improved. The shower head was leaking, which made it inconvenient to use. In addition, the placement of personal cleaning supplies was not practical and made the space feel cluttered. Overall, I expected better maintenance and attention to detail from this hotel. I hope management can address these issues to improve future guests’ experience.

This is a great hotel in a great location! Convenient to the green line and also walkable to a lot of things. We are a family of 5 and were happy they had a room to accommodate all of us that wasn’t outrageous. 2 queens and a pull out couch. Perfect! Bath products smell great and are high quality. Overnight valet parking but it’s unlimited in and out- which we didn’t do since we walked or took the train everywhere. And the staff who work here are welcoming, kind, and very helpful. This hotel is a gem! Highly recommend!

Dismissive staff & rude front desk.

We are extremely disappointed in the Iris Hotel. The staff is not very friendly and the hotel is dated. We booked a junior suite with breakfast. Our reservation included free breakfast. It clearly states free breakfast! However, when we checked in the front desk person told us we had a $56 credit not free breakfast. We showed him that our reservation said free breakfast and he completely dismissed us because we booked through Hotels.com. He was rude & did not try to resolve it in any way. Apparently at the Iris if you book through a 3rd party you are a second class guest. Don't expect any customer service. We knew that a $56 credit would not cover breakfast for two for two days. Sure enough the cheapest entree for breakfast is $14. Drip Coffee is $5. So $38 for one day not including tax. Our daughter lives in Brookline, so we thought this would be a nice place to stay. We were wrong.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the iris however, on the first night, we tried to dine in the restaurant. We sat for 10 minutes without receiving a menu or water and got up and left.
