The hotel was fine for a short stay—simple and convenient. The biggest downside was the room itself: no exterior windows, only ones facing the corridor. Most rooms seem to be windowless, so there’s no natural light, which can feel a bit claustrophobic.
At check-in, we were surprised by an additional $250 in charges: $150 was a refundable damage deposit, but another $100 was for mandatory fees like WiFi and breakfast—which we didn’t use. These costs aren’t included in the room price, so be aware of the extra charges.
On the positive side, the location is excellent. The tram/train stop is right outside, and being near Boston College gives the area a lively and safe feel. The lobby is a nice space to escape the room, with free water, tea, coffee, microwaves, and plenty of seating.
Overall, this isn’t a romantic or relaxing hotel, but it works well for business trips or quick stopovers.
