The Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst a busy city. We very much enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the spa. The hotel is located in the Chartrons neighborhood on the North side of Bordeaux. Plenty of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. The Bordeaux city centre is a 30 minute walk from the hotel, but it’s a lovely walk along the river. One small slight is that the AC wasn’t very effective in our room. Regardless, we highly recommend this hotel.
