This hotel was terrible. I notified the staff of no hot water in the shower and heater not working at all to keep the room warm. They wouldnt move me and never fixed either problem. They wouldnt move me to a different room.

The room was okay, about like I expected. I had asked for the room to be cleaned every other day, but on Wednesday they picked up the dirty towels and left clean towels and soap on the bed. the sheets were not changed. the one trash can was dumped then.

They had no heat, disgusting bed sheets (had to get them replaced and the replacements were barely clean), dirty floors and dirty walls - walls were literally dripping with old stained ... who knows what. AND there was a nice bloodstain on the bathroom door molding. No joke. Probably the worst hotel/motel stay I can remember. I can't blame the staff, they seemed decent enough, but where was the owner to fix or resolve any of this?

One of the rooms I paid for was not ready until 6:30pm (checking time was 2pm), the floors were filthy (I didn't realize this until I walked to the bathroom and my feet stuck to the floor), the towels were dirty. I will never go back!!!

There was no air in the room, only heat and it could not be controlled. We had to just shut it down to have some comfort. We opened the window but no screens and flys came in. Very bad. Requested a first floor months ago. We were placed on the second floor, far from the stairwell. We are in our 70s.

The staff at Motel 6 Blythe is pleasant. After reading some bad reviews, I was worried but just take a chance because I stayed at this location 5-6 yrs ago when it just got remodeled. I stayed at room 137 from Jan 7 thru 10, 2026. The room is clean although I noticed the cleaning team only swept the hardwood floor, not mop-cleaned. I felt that the pillows and sheets were clean. The mattress is too soft, not comfortable for me. There is no bed cover on top like before which is ok for me bc I don't iknow if it got washed after guest checked out. Towels are clean. Shower stall felt small bc of the curve with shower curtain, I'm 5'3 and can barely move while taking shower, can't adjust the showerhead, water pressure is kinda weak. There is stain (ring) in the toilet bowl, I don't know bc it's old and they can't scrub it clean or some other reasons, it needs new toilet seat though. The motel only provides 2 little bar soap, bring your own shampoo. Not enough hooks in bathroom to hang towels, there is only 1 small hook. There is a small fridge in room but the microwave is located in the laundry room. There is no table in this room, I had to ask for a chair so I can seat down to eat. It was super windy during this time, the day I checked out there was no hot water, not the motel's fault but I think we can blame the weather. For my purpose, the stay at this location room 137 is ok. Not recommend for family or with kids. For most travelers I think, cleanliness is very important.

The heat was not working in the rooms. There was a sign posted at the front desk when you checked in but no prior warning when you booked. We booked 2 nights with 2 rooms and were told we had heat in both rooms but this was not the case. The second night we asked for extra blankets and were accommodated but due to the cold nights it was not enough. Hair from former guests were on the pillow cases and sheets. Very noticeable and questionable if it were replaced.

The room I was assigned on the first floor didn’t lock from the outside and the deadbolt on the inside was coming off the hinges. It also looked like someone was just in there, since the shower was wet. I then had to be moved to another room, and the shower also looked like it was just used.
