The property had only one AC unit working and we had to sleep in the family room since the rooms were really hot. The pictures shown on the app has nothing to do with the real thing since there is a wall with mold, there are outlets out the wall, the tub is with calcium and it’s like have not being clean in a while. The washer machine also has mold. The apartment needs to be refurbished. The property has a great location and the check in and check out were super easy and great. I believe that if the repairs are made it would make a great place to stay.

The unit was right on La Rambla, close to everything. Getting our luggage up to the unit was a bit of a challenge, with no elevator, so be aware of that. Host was amazing: friendly and helpful. The listing says 3 bedrooms, but a better description would be 3 rooms with beds. One bedroom plus beds in the dining and living area. This unit is all about location though, so no complaints. Very close to the subway system too, so getting around Barcelona is a piece of cake.

Was a bit sceptical for the price for the location compared to hotels but was perfect. Communication was spot on & nothing was a problem. Although we were there for the football & didn’t spend much time in the apartment apart from to sleep & shower (and sauna) I wudnt have a problem staying there with my family.

The place was terrible. The bedscannot sleep in them. They were so bad to sleep in no. Remote control for the TV there was no elevator we had a do stairs. And for elder people with disability, there was no way that we could get into those rooms. So I give it a terrible place to stay.

The location was spectacular for sightseeing and tourist activities. Most of our tours originated at Placa de Catalunya which was just two blocks; and it has a metro station as well. As for the room, the bath had been remodeled but could only deal with a max of two persons at any given time. The kitchen had all the necessities. But the sleeping accommodations were not private. The VRBO amenities said there was a hot tub, but actually it is a sauna which is not a plus in the summer. The real downside is for any traveler with luggage. The room is on the third floor, no elevator, very narrow stairs and no help from the property management agent who opened the unit for us. My major gripe was the air conditioning was out; a portable unit was brought in but it vented the hot discharge into the room which defeated the purpose. The owner was not amenable to a discount. We had to have the windows open at night and the neighborhood is as loud as NYC to about 2AM. Lastly, as much as you read about La Rambla (on which we fronted), know that it is a construction zone and will be for some time.

Suitable lodging in a city under siege. Archaic comes to mind, the place was disgusting and filthy, ridden with mold and dead insects. You needed to sleep fully dressed to be frank. It sounds scathing but I tell no lie. The location is admittedly great and despite the two flight climb we had no issues, save for the door to the building. If you are a locksmith you’d have a field day but my son was the only one capable of opening it and each time took several minutes. At the time we were staying, and for several months yet perhaps, there was construction on the plaza outside. Not the owners fault naturally but the space in front of the door is heavily trafficked and difficult to access as a result. If you are young and have no care for such things go right ahead, decently spacious and three double beds available. No privacy and you must enter the one true bedroom to access the toilet and shower. Nice murals on the walls to be fair, but ravaged by the mold and thus difficult to appreciate. Think well if you are considering it, I am being fair to them in the respect that some people probably wouldn’t mind, and would regard the location selling point enough. If you care about cleanliness, your respiratory health and comfort another option would likely suit you.

The apartment has an undeniably privileged location in the city — truly excellent. Unfortunately, that is the only positive point. The rest of the experience was extremely disappointing. The apartment is in poor condition overall. Several things are broken or malfunctioning, and the place was noticeably dirty upon arrival. The towels and sheets had an unpleasant smell, which immediately set a bad tone for our stay. The kitchen is practically unusable, with missing or non‑functional items. The AC and TV were advertised but simply did not work at all.The bathroom layout is also misleading. They claim to offer a sauna, but in reality it’s just being used as a storage closet for cleaning supplies. It felt careless and unprofessional. We stayed for two nights and that was more than enough. We will not return. This is exactly the type of listing that Vrbo should not allow on the platform — misleading, poorly maintained, and far below basic hospitality standards.

Dikke aanrader!
