"Our extended family of 10, ranging from 75 to 2, really enjoyed staying at this beautiful property in the woods of Yosemite West. We were cool and comfortable despite the heat, and a forest fire that filled the Valley with smoke had no impact on us in our lofty perch near Glacier Point. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and serve family meals--condiments, spices, cooking oil, pots and pans, serving bowls, and more. The living room felt like an eagle's aerie with its soaring windows and beautiful decor. The master bath is especially well appointed, with a tub the size of a small swimming pool much enjoyed by the young ones at bath time. The older kids (and their parents!) were much impressed by the game room and had several enjoyable competitions there. I was happy just to sip the complimentary spritzer while lounging in a comfy chair gazing out the windows and admiring the occasional chipmunk. Definitely better than staying in Yosemite Valley!"

"The house is in a wonderful location.. easy to access main attractions of the park. The bedrooms are not as advertised. There are 2 rooms with double beds and one room with a double and a twin with trundle. We were a family of 6 needing 5 separate beds ..that was advertised. The dishwasher was broken and I have never stayed at any vrbo especially one that was 800 plus a night that used such cheap toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels and bathing towels. Ridiculous. Also the coffee pot is a regular pot and you need to bring ground coffee. Lastly power went out at 8:23 am our last day. This was a scheduled outing evidently with no communication re: outage until 11:14am. Just disappointing."

"Great location for getting to Yosemite Valley quickly. Beautiful area - we enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood. Unit had everything we needed and access was simple through email provided. I thought to note the entry code the day before because I had read that cell phone service is not good there. I was glad I did that. Once we got in, the wifi in the unit enabled us to connect and make calls, text, etc over wifi. Overall a very good experience. Pick up groceries on the way before arriving. There is nothing nearby but there is a little grocery in Curry Village in Yosemite Valley."

"We stayed as a home base for Yosemite. It was nice to enter the park only once. The location was great as well as the house. Lots of space. I would suggest more bed linen and blankets. There were not enough for 8. Also need more dishes. Everything else in the kitchen was great"
